SHOW HISTORY
From small things, big things grow.

In 2019, CCF QLD launched its first large-scale equipment and supply expo named the Civil Construction Field Days. Held over two days, this event was hosted at the Pickles Industrial site at Archerfield with approximately 40 exhibitors and 900 attendees.

Moving forward to 2021 which was a very exciting year for the show. The official partnership was launched between the Brisbane Truck Show and the Civil Construction Field Days and offered attendees reciprocal ticketing and free shuttle buses. The event ran over three days at Hamilton Northshore. The event had over 65 exhibitors and more than 3500 people attend!

In 2023 we saw significant growth in the show with a new name, new location and new duration. The Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show (HEMS) was attended by more than 5500 patrons over the four days at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

“This show offers industry an opportunity to come together and see the latest equipment and technologies to help make the construction of Australia’s infrastructure more affordable and effective.”
